The RE Printmakers annual members' exhibition opened at Bankside Gallery in London with a Private View on 1 May 2025, and runs until 8 June. The exhibition includes over 200 original prints by members of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers including the newly elected artists.
As a new elected member of the RE Printmakers (ARE), I am exhibiting two reduction woodcuts from my Sense of Place Series, titled "Yellow rocks from a different angle" and "Looking for a quiet place". Both of these editions are printed on Japanese Kitakata paper 36gsm, and are float framed in a pale natural wood with not reflective ArtGlass. Unframed woodcuts are available in the browser.
Some super news: At the Private View event on the evening on 1 May, I was awarded the Clifford Chance LLP Acquisition Prize for both of my exhibited works. The implication is that Clifford Chance LLP has purchased a woodcut from each of these editions for their significant corporate art collection. Thank you to RE Printmakers, Bankside Gallery and Clifford Chance LLP for this recognition of the body of work and it is wonderful to have two more works in important collections in the UK.
Bankside Gallery is open every day from 11am until 6pm and will be hosting special Meet the Artist Events through the exhibition.
