Natural mark making and Sashiko stitch on hemp silk and cotton isolation cloth, basted onto hemp linen.

The botanical contact print method has been used to print rusty orange, aubergine and charcoal coloured foliage, directly off the leaves and plant pigment innate in the cell structure of the plants. No chemicals, ink or dye is used in the process. This is a unique artwork.
