One of the highlights of my year is to be exhibiting in this spectacular new gallery space Cloudigital Gallery, in The Old Foundry in De Waterkant, Cape Town. This exhibition is curated by Dylan McGarry and includes works from international and South African artists, working across various media, with themes that focus on the poly crisis faced by all of us. Many of the exhibited pieces are for sale - including all of my woodcuts.
About the exhibition: Wit(h)ness is a contemplative and diffractive group exhibition that seeks to stay with the poly crises we are facing today. It aims to illuminate the intricate connections between war, extractivism, climate collapse and human rights violations, and even intimate personal losses, without losing ourselves to overwhelm, chronic grief syndrome or apathy. The exhibitions runs until December and visitors are invited into the space to interact with the artworks.
