It is a great privilege to be exhibiting in Van Horison to Horison, at La Motte Ateljee in Franschhoek, with a group of contemporary artists paying homage to the likes of JH Pierneef, Irma Stern and Maggie Laubscher.
The exhibition opened on 7 March and runs until late in June, with a number of opportunities to engage with the work and the artists including a Strauss & Co Art Club gathering on 14 March, by invitation only, and an informal Art Hang on 28 March. There are also a number of workshops planned to activate the space, and these can be viewed and booked here.
I am exhibiting three woodcuts (all of which are near the end of the editions) and it will be a good opportunity to see the work in the company of other superb South African land based work. My exhibited works are:
