I am exhibiting at Solo Studios Riebeek Kasteel Intimate Art Encounters this year, as part of the collective exhibition of thirteen women artists, titled RED HOT, PINK SPOT. I am presenting work mainly from my series Head Under Water, but have included new works that have just been released. 

This premiere art event runs from 24 - 26 October in the Riebeek Valley. Our exhibition is in Loop D in Riebeek Wes. Please take a turn or contact me if you cannot make the event, and are interested in a work.

The artworks presented are from my abstract series Head Under Water, where the colours and shapes tell a story of my own body under water, in a place that holds me. In these works, I have played along a continuum of process, from the more logical and carefully executed woodcut, to state prints printed on ethereal Japanese hemp lace. In this place, the world has slipped away, and I am Head Under Water.
